Yosemite Valley

Nestled at the western slopes of the rich mountain range of the Sierra Nevada, is the enchanting stretch of Yosemite Valley that offers some of the most captivating sights Nature could offer.  Extending only seven and a half miles long and less than a mile wide, one would be left wondering at how such breath-taking sceneries have been condensed to grace just this part of the globe.  Hiking, camping, backpacking, biking, horse-back riding, picnicking or whatever activities you have in mind; no other place can afford the ultimate vacation you’ll get when you explore Yosemite Valley.

Borne out of centuries and centuries of glaciations, the lush valley floor is crowned by sheer granite cliffs and crests where water features from grand waterfalls thunder and rhythmic creeks tumble.  Together with the National Park from which it serves as the spectacular highlight, the areas has been designated a World Heritage Site in 1984.

Take in the stunning views by hiking along the paved trails.  Can’t get enough?  Enjoy the generous offerings of nature and history and really experience its wild by camping in one of the many individual campsites that stud the area.  Be awakened with the spirits of the mountains and push through to indulge in one scenic spot to another by backpacking throughout the valley and the surrounding areas to behold the wild and wondrous fusion of flora and fauna.

Yosemite Valley offers an indulgent treat of many scenic treasures to uncover.  The easiest hikes may fool you.  Though not as challenging, a small amount of effort is enough to take your breathe away with the beautiful sights they have in store.  Pushing yourself to do average to more strenuous trails would grandly pay-off with the exquisite views and stunning panoramas that the lesser touched parts of the Wilderness presents.

One backpacking trail that is said to have been long-forgotten travels along the North Rim, of the Yosemite National Park gracing its beholders with amazing views of the Valley floor and high country beyond.  Hiking along the creeks near the highest waterfall in all of North America would afford you views of the Cathedral Range.  Camping at higher grounds and waking up to witness the glorious rays of golden sunshine spread throughout the Valley will surely invigorate your senses and inspire you to move on.  The trail then heads to another classic icon.  A magical sunset ends the day to welcome more miles of lushness and spectacular sights creating memories to last a lifetime.
